There’s certainly no shortage of iPad cases on the market, but in case none of the current offerings are doing it for you, iFrogz has released a new line of its own protective cases for the iPad.
The NeoFirm Burst case, at $25, is the cheapest of the bunch. It functions as a neoprene sleeve, complete with a fold-over front pocket that you slide your iPad into for front-to-back protection. iFrogz’s other sleeve-style case is the $30 Envoy, which boasts a classy, faux-leather design and a pull-tab that lifts your iPad out for you. While these two cases may offer the most complete protection for your iPad, the obvious downside is that you must first remove your iPad from these cases in order to use it.
The $30 Silicone Wrapz, SoftGloss, and Luxe Lean cases provide impact protection for your iPad without restricting any of its functions or ports, and subsequently, without protecting the display.
The Silicone Wrapz case is made of anti-dust treated silicone and comes in five colors. The SoftGloss case is, for better or worse, made of the same material (TPU) as the jelly shoes of the 1980’s, and boasts a trippy radial etched design that highlights the Apple logo. The Luxe Lean is a hard-shell, polycarbonate snap-on case that does its best to maintain the iPad’s sleek profile. iFrogz’s most expensive offering, the $40 Luxe Original case is a two-piece, hard-shell polycarbonate case finished with a metallic facade and a “soft tough” feel. It also retains the classic “Luxe” look of it’s iPhone case counterpart of the same name.
Rounding out iFrogz’s new offerings are two styles of screen protectors: mirrored and anti-glare. Both retail for $20 and provide quality optics with no resolution loss or image morphing.
