Our Verdict
If you’re the kind of person who spies a FedEx shipping envelope and thinks, “Hmm, with a little padding, that would make a heck of an iPad case” you might be the perfect person for Brenthaven’s $35 Bill-Fold iPad Sleeve. Made of recycled—and fairly rigid—billboard material on the outside and a soft, faux-suede material on the inside, the Bill-Folder iPad Sleeve is unique in that it opens at both ends, allowing it to fold nearly flat when empty. Thankfully, each end seals with Velcro strips. Plus, the sleeve fits fairly snugly, even with both ends open. Still, you’ll want to be careful to seal the sleeve before you tote it around with your iPad inside. It’s an environmentally sound idea, and the look of each sleeve is different, but the design won’t appeal to everyone.
