Virgin could be the next UK mobile phone provider to offer Apple’s new iPhone 4, according to reports.
Virgin Mobile, which uses the T-Mobile network, told Mobile News: “We are in ongoing talks with Apple. There are no further developments at this point.”
Virgin would become the sixth provider to offer the iPhone 4 in the UK. O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Three are already confirmed as mobile network partners for the new iPhone, which launches in the UK, US, France, Germany and Japan on Thursday, June 24.
Tesco Mobile could also offer Apple’s new smartphone, although if you call the Tesco Mobile free phone hotline, the supermarket directs you to Apple to learn more about the “great new iPhone.” Tesco Mobile currently offers the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.
