Apple will open its second flagship store in China this Saturday, July 10, in the heart of Shanghai’s financial district, located near local landmark the Oriental Pearl Tower.
According to Shanghaiist, the new Shanghai Apple Store bears a striking resemblance to the flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York. The Website has posted numerous images of the store.
Apple has since announced plans to have 25 retail outlets in China by the end of 2011, disclosing those plans when it announced second-quarter earnings in April. “We are thrilled to open the first of many new stores in China in this incredible location,” Apple’s Johnson said this week.
