Our Verdict
If you were to imagine a leather folio case for the iPad, you’d probably envision the $100 Sena Folio. It’s the epitome of business class, leather outside and in (it comes in black, brown, or red) with a velvet lining. Once you slide the iPad in to the leather holding frame, you’ve got access to all ports and buttons. The inside cover gives you slots for business cards, there’s a lower pocket for slipping in a few other papers, and yet another pocket behind that, so there’s plenty of room for paper storage (at the cost of some added bulk).
The whole thing closes with the snap of a leather strap. But the strap’s a bit more versatile than that: there’s a second snap on the back of the case that converts the strap into a kickstand for the iPad, letting you prop it upright for display on a table or desk.
If giving your iPad some leather business style is what you’re looking for in a case, the Sena Folio delivers.
