A journaling app from German developer Appmaker e.K. has been updated with voice and mapping features.
My Own Diary HD 2.0 was launched in the last week, offering users the new ability to include voice recordings among their journal entries. The updated app also added a new map function, letting users geotag their diary entries automatically via the iPad’s Location Services, or manually using a world map within the app. Developers say the app also includes a wider emoticon selection and improvements to the user interface.
The updates add to an app that already featured the ability to import images to illustrate a user’s diary, as well as the ability to export entries via PDF, text, or e-mail.
My Own Diary HD costs $4, and is compatible with any iPad running iOS 3.2 or later.
