Tired of using a Sharpie to label all of your CD and DVD-Rs? Ukrainian company BeLight Software can help add some spiff to your burned discs with its Disc Cover CD/DVD label designing software. Recently updated, Disc Cover Version 3 includes 140 new templates, 30 artistic collages, support for multi-page booklets, a completely redesigned Assistant, and more.
Disc Cover is designed to be your one-stop application for designing and printing disc labels, multipage booklets, cover art and jewel case inserts. The program comes with over 250 template sets complete with disc labels, covers, jewel case intserts, multiple page booklets, and spines that you can easily customize. You can also start your design from scratch, using the app’s vast array of clipart images, photo collage templates, backgrounds, and fonts.
Disc Cover also integrates with numerous Apple apps—it can pull track info and lyrics from your iTunes library and photos from iPhoto and Aperture, for instance—and features a slick, user-friendly interface to help get you started quickly.
Along with 140 new template kits and 30 new collages templates, Disco Cover version 3 includes support for Master Page layouts for multiple-page booklets, advanced importing options, new design tools, and the ability to import lyrics from iTunes and the Internet.
Disc Cover comes in two flavors: the $35 Standard edition, which includes 1000 clipart images and no additional fonts, and the $45 Retail version, which includes 40,000 clipart images and 100 additional fonts. Existing Disc Cover users can upgrade for $20.
