FileWave to offer iOS remote device management

The business prospects of Apple’s iOS devices are only getting better, and FileWave is the latest company to announce remote device management support for the iPhone and iPad.

Come Q1 2011, FileWave will bring support for iOS devices to its client management suite, allowing administrators to integrate Apple’s mobile devices into their existing cross-platform infrastructure. FileWave’s server suite will be able to remotely monitor and manage the iPhone and iPad, wipe a lost or stolen device, install software profiles, and more.

FileWave will join a growing number of third-parties that now support iOS in business environments, which includes Absolute Software and even Microsoft. The company also boasts a cross-platform management solution that supports Mac, Windows, and Linux computers.
