The app, announced Wednesday by developer Aquilonis, lets you make voice recordings about important ideas or meetings—and offers scheduling capabilities so your iPhone plays the message back to you at a specified time and date.
InstantNote+ can also help business users manage the timing of their communications with the outside world, with features to schedule and even initiate—with the user’s consent—calls, texts, and e-mails. (The consent requirement means the phone won’t accidentally call an important client while a user is in the middle of other business.) Scheduling is done via a multicolored grid divided into 15-minute increments.
InstantNote+ costs $10, and is compatible with devices running iOS 4.0 or later.
