Note-sharing technology sure has come a long way from when my buddies and I used to pass notes behind the teacher’s back. The newest version of Left Coast Logic’s SmartNotes adds the ability to sync notes between devices, as well as iPad support, and more.
With version 2.0 of the note organization and to-do app, users can sync all of their notes data—including voice and photo attachments—with the new Left Coast Cloud server. They can also enter a security code to protect their data and they’ll be able to take advantage of a new landscape view for easier scrolling on both the iPad and the iPhone.
The new version also comes with an organizational interface that allows users to group notes and integrate information from address book contacts and Google Maps, as well as new personalized features including font styles, background images, and product skins.
SmartNotes 2.0 is available on the App Store for $10. It works with any device running iOS 3.1.3 or later.
