PDF Expert, an app that lets users read and annotate documents on their iPad, has been updated with—literally—a stamp of approval.
Version 2.3 of the productivity app from Readdle hit the App Store on Tuesday. The most significant update gives users the ability to afix “Approved,” “Draft,” and other standard Adobe Acrobat stamps—as well as custom stamps—to any PDF document. The updated app also includes a new “flattening” tool that converts the annotated PDF document into a regular PDF with the notes permanently attached.
The updated PDF Expert also features some bug fixes, including improved stability of its online storage syncing and a protocol update for SugarSync support. Readdle is cautioning users that older versions of PDF Expert will soon stop working with SugarSync.
PDF Expert costs $10, and is compatible with iPads running iOS 3.2 or later.
