Hacker Nicholas Allegra—who goes by the name Comex online—is the guy who devised JailbreakMe.com, a website that took advantage of vulnerabilities in iOS to let users jailbreak their devices. Now, he’s got a new gig—interning at Apple. We understand he’s been specially hired to make sure that 1 Infinite Loop’s ventilation system is secure, which he will do by crawling through every inch of it.
Successor Faces Tough Job at Apple (Wall Street Journal)
According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple may be in the midst of trying to launch a subscription TV service. That could gibe with the news, late Friday, that Apple had discontinued its TV rental option. Details of the proposed TV subscription plan are almost non-existent, but as we understand it, you would get a new TV every month.
