Zenus Masstige Color Block Folio case for iPad 2

Zenus’s $60 Masstige Color Block Folio Series offers sleek but secure protection for your iPad 2. The folio-style case’s faux-leather design is minimalist but satisfying and, at $60, the case is a less-expensive alternative to Zenus’s leather Prestige line. (We’ve also tested another design of the Masstige Folio series: the Masstige Anaconda Series.)

The Masstige’s folio-style stand, which works in landscape-orientation only, is good for viewing photos or watching video, but lacks the stability needed for typing. The case’s cover sports two credit-card-sized pockets and includes the necessary magnets to work with the iPad 2’s magnetic sleep/wake function.

Available in off-white or black chocolate, the Masstige’s sleek design is thin and lightweight, and keeps all of the iPad 2’s ports and camera unobstructed while holding it securely in place. But while the case will keep your iPad safe from scratches, it’s ultra-thin design won’t give much protection against higher impact bumps or drops.
