If you’re planning to check out the revamped, renamed Macworld Expo next month when it starts a new life as Macworld | iWorld, the time to buy tickets is now—at least if you want to save a little cash.
Early bird pricing for the event comes to a close Monday. An iFan Pass to Macworld | iWorld—which gives attendees access to tech talks and the exhibit floor, as well as the music, film, and art components of the show—currently costs $75. The price goes up $25 starting Tuesday through the day before the show’s January 26 start date. You’ll also have to pay more for an exhibits-only pass after Monday; currently priced at $25, the cost rises to $30 once early-registration pricing comes to an end.
Event organizers unveiled the new name for Macworld | iWorld back in October. In addition to the name change, organizers also plan a new focus for the show—in addition to traditional exhibits and conference sessions, Macworld | iWorld promises more events like live performances and film festivals that celebrate the use of Mac and iOS products.
Macworld | iWorld runs from January 26 to January 28, 2012 at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco. Event organizer IDG World Expo is owned by IDG, the same parent company that owns Macworld.
