In shocking news, a research firm reports that, of “mass affluent investors,” 46 percent own an iPhone, with just 34 percent owning an Android phone. Furthermore, 53 percent own iPads, while just 16 percent have a Kindle Fire. And the higher the net worth of the people surveyed, the higher the percentage that own Apple products. Of course, if you consider that Apple products are clearly more valuable than those of their competitors, that seems a bit like a truism.

According to AllThingsD, Apple is planning an imminent update for the Podcasts app it released last month. Such an update might finally patch some of the bugs with the app—for example, its sheer atrociousness.
