13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display confirmed for Apple event (9to5Mac)

With an Apple event officially confirmed for next week, the rumor mill is working overtime. If everything we’ve read is true, the 13-inch MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac mini may all make an appearance on October 23, at which point Tim Cook will pound them all into dust with a hammer to prove a point about how product leaks ruin things for everybody.

Moving from love-hate to hate-hate (The Korea Times)

Samsung and Apple’s oft-fractious relationship seems to be hitting the skids for real: The Korean company reportedly had no input on the design of Apple’s latest processor, the A6, which is said to be a departure from previous chips. Geez, what have we come to when Apple can’t even trust a company ruled to have been infringing its intellectual property?
