Apple holds its quarterly conference call with Wall Street analysts Thursday, this time to go over the numbers for the company’s fiscal fourth quarter. We’ll have live coverage of that 2 p.m. conference call right here on Macworld.
The fiscal fourth quarter covers the three-month period ending on September 29, a time when Apple introduced the new iPhone 5. The company’s Mountain Lion update for OS X also arrived during the quarter.
Analysts are looking for Apple to report sales of $35.8 billion for the quarter and tally earnings per share of $8.75, according to consensus estimates. That’s ahead of Apple’s guidance from July, when the company told analysts to expect $34 billion in revenue and earnings of $7.65 a share.
Apple will announce earnings after the stock market closes at 1:30 p.m. PT; our live blog will begin after that in advance of the 2 p.m. call.
