Apple Gives In to Employee Perks (Wall Street Journal)
Tim Cook knows which side his bread is buttered on. Apple is reportedly offering new perks to its employees, including a program dubbed “Blue Sky,” which lets workers take a few weeks on pet engineering projects—similar to Google’s vaunted “20 percent time.” The company is also said to be offering other benefits, including a personal shiatsu session with trained masseuse Bob Mansfield.
Apple Stores top Tiffany’s in sales per square foot, again (Fortune)
According to the industry watchers at Retail Sales, Apple Stores raked in $6,050 per square foot this year, doubling the income of its nearest competitor, Tiffany’s. Though I wouldn’t use that argument while holiday shopping for your significant other.

Character actor Danny Trejo (Machete) is featured in an iPad game coming out later this month, in which he’ll be accompanied by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. I cannot come up with a punchline better than actual reality.
