This week’s list of new iOS accessories includes one item that’s extremely useful, but extremely private. Can you guess which one?

The iPad mini’s onscreen keyboard is small enough to make even touchscreen fans ache for a real keyboard, and Belkin aims to help with the $80 FastFit Keyboard Case for iPad mini. Belkin says the keys on this Bluetooth-enabled keyboard are spaced to make touch-typing feel natural, though the company hasn’t yet said when the accessory will be released to the public.

This company haz unveiled the $40 ScreenGuardz Pure Premium Glass Screen Protector, a cover for your iPhone 5’s made of real glass. BodyGuardz says the glass offers better clarity and easier installation than film screen protectors. The package includes the glass, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and screen-cleaning fluid.

The $159 Versi iPhone 5 Charging Stand is a real piece of work, standing on a solid granite base and using an articulating ball joint to extend its aluminum arms so you can view your phone even while it’s docked.

We’re only going to say one thing about the Pedestal Stand with Roll Holder for iPad: perfect. Unfortunately, the vendor hasn’t yet provided information on pricing or availability.

If you’d like a Bluetooth keyboard for your iPad that comes as part of a case you can close up and bash around your cage, like a violent gorilla, without any damage to the iPad, well, the $495 StreetCase is probably your product. In all seriousness, the StreetCase is designed to keep your gear safe against liquids and dust—it meets NEMA 4X/IP65 specifications—while providing mounting options for in-vehicle use and VESA attachments.

Slowly but surely, the list of accessories for Lightning-connector iOS devices is growing, but no cable list is complete without entries from budget brand Monoprice. Well, the wait is over, as the company has unveiled a line of USB-to-Lightning-connector cables, ranging from a $12 three-foot model to a six-foot version for less than a buck more. There’s also a three-foot Slimfit cable for just under $13 that uses smaller plugs for compatibility with more cases. The MFi Certified Car Charger gets you a Lightning-connector car charger for under $12.

Mophie’s $80 Juice Pack Helium is a snap-on battery case for the iPhone 5 that doubles the phone’s battery capacity, offering an additional six hours of talk time if you’re using your phone on a 3G network. (See our hands on with the Juice Pack Helium.)

Wish your iOS device’s speaker offer slightly louder, clearer sound? The $13 SoundBender clips over your device and, as its name implies, redirects the speaker’s audio towards you in much the same way that you can do by cupping your hand around the speaker. The SoundBender is magnetized, so you can stick it on the refrigerator when it’s not attached to your iPad.
