A report from Reuters suggests that Tim Cook didn’t want to sue Samsung, the strategy espoused by his predecessor Steve Jobs. His reasoning? Samsung supplies many of Apple’s components. Also, Jobs’s “thermonuclear” plans went against the ideology of Tim Cook who, as we all know, is a huge fan of WarGames.

Speaking of Cook, the Apple CEO has been invited to sit with Michelle Obama during the State of the Union address on Tuesday, leading many to expect that Apple will be mentioned in the speech. What they’re not expecting is that the president will roll up his sleeve and show the nation his sweet new Apple smartwatch.

During an Ask Me Anything session on the community site Reddit, former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates revealed that “from time to time I have tried all of Apple [sic] products.” To which Gates added, “They made that Newton thingy, right?”
