Welcome to another edition of Macworld’s iPad-case roundup, where we…round up the latest protective accessories for your tablet.
As always, we have something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a stylish case to go with your leather accessories, or in the market for something a little sturdier for your commercial vehicle.

The Chambray Tab Cover (iPad mini; $30) combines a cambric exterior with a soft-lined interior for maximum durability, protection, and style.
The case can double as a viewing stand, features a magnetic closure, and comes in pink, blue, khaki, or dark grey.

From one of the artisans on the popular sell-it-yourself website comes a collection of handmade, Star Trek-inspired sleeves (all iPad models; $25 to $78) that the Shat himself would approve of.
The sleeves feature several kinds of Starfleet uniforms, from both the original series and and its many offshoots. There’s no word on whether the red version comes with a first name, but if you want your tablet to survive, I recommend a different color.

The Cover (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $30) is a clever cover that protects your iPad and gives it a unique workbook-like look. The Cover, which is compatible with the iPad’s magnetic/sleep wake functionality, flips around to double as a stand for viewing or typing in landscape orientation.
The case is available in motifs from floral patterns to modern art, and includes a cutout on the back to ensure unobstructed use of your tablet’s camera.

The iPad Wrap Cobalt (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $50) is just one of several collections this company has launched in honour of Mardi Gras celebrations everwhere.
The Wrap features a magnetic closure and doubles as viewing stand in landscape orientation. Thick padding protects your device, while an interior pocket provides additional room for documents and accessories.

The iPad Mini Tough Case (iPad mini; $60) has a soft, rubberized exterior and a ridig inner case, protecting your tiny new tablet from whatever harm awaits it in the world.
The case is available in blue, white, red, or black.

The Aura Folio (iPad mini; $50) features a brushed-aluminum, textured-nylon finish, and is designed to flip around and convert into a stand for viewing at multiple angle in landscape orientation.
The Aura’s cover is compatible with the iPad mini’s magnetic sleep/wake functionality, while the case’s body includes a cutout to ensure that you can continue using the tablet’s rear camera unhindered.

The Van Gogh Boats (iPad mini; $70) features a sturdy, handmade, leather construction with wool-felt interior for maximum protection inside and out. The case can be converted into a viewing or typing stand in landscape orientation.
As its name implies, the case features artwork inspired by the famous Dutch painter and comes in sky blue, navy blue, or walnut.

The Metal Sliding Bumper Case Cover for iPad Mini (iPad mini; $18) is exactly what it sounds like: an added layer of protection around the edges of your favorite new tablet.
The case comes in pink, blue, grey, or black.
