Welcome to this week’s edition of our iPad-case roundup, where we collect the latest in protective accessories for Apple’s tablets.
This week, we bring you a rig for those who take their photography seriously, a bit of colourful suede, and a case for those who like to take their iPad in the vicinity of electricity’s mortal enemy: water.

The Buckle Belted Case (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $45) is made from smooth, synthetic leather with heavy stitching and solid construction to protect your iPad while offering a unique look.
The cover flips around to act as a viewing stand at three angles in landscape orientation, and the case is compatible with the iPad’s magnetic sleep/wake function. The case comes in black, light blue, or grey.

The Soft Shield (iPad 1, 2, 3, and 4; $28) cocoons your iPad in a soft, TPU-backed nylon fabric for a no-slip grip that offers IP66-certified protection from water and dirt.
The case, which comes with a neck lanyard, doesn’t interfere with the tablet’s touchscreen, and works with earphones and with in-line remotes.

The Perga (iPad mini; $120) is a premium leather case whose multi-segmented cover flips around to double as a viewing and typing stand in landscape orientation.
It’s compatible with the iPad mini’s magnetic sleep/wake function and comes in black, red, brown, or tan.

The Aria (iPad mini; $90) is handmade from luxurious, full-grain leather stitched against a baltic-birch frame for a unique combination of robustness, form, and functionality.
When open, the case, which is compatible with the iPad mini’s magnetic sleep/wake function, doubles as a viewing or typing stand in landscape orientation.

The Enduro Mini (iPad mini; $60) features a super-slim 8000mAh battery that boosts your iPad mini’s battery by a whopping 125 percent while adding only minimal bulk to it.
Made of PU leather and available in black, pink, or blue, the case is compatible with the iPad mini’s magnetic sleep/wake function and also doubles as a viewing or typing stand.

Ever thought of turning your iPad into a pro shooting rig? The Padcaster (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $149) is made from aluminum and features both 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes in which you can secure photography accessories such as light meters and flashes.
The case features a simple urethane insert that makes slipping the iPad in and out of the rig easy and safe, giving you the chance to go from photo pro to tablet user in a heartbeat.

The Gamuza Ultrasuede (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $23) is a stick-on back cover made from special microfibers so small that they are invisible to the naked eye yet provide excellent protection and help the tablet slide effortlessly in and out of your bag.
It comes in black, blue, grey, brown, pink, red, or tan.

The RainDrop (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $60) is handmade from top-grain litchi leather and uses a hidden leather strap to keep your iPad securely attach during use and transport.
Available in brown, purple, red, white, green, or orange, the case is compatible with the iPad’s magnetic sleep/wake function, and it doubles as a viewing or typing stand in landscape orientation.

The Polly (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $60) is made from faux leather with a soft interior lining to keep your iPad safe and make it easy to transport.
The case folds into a stand for viewing and typing, and it features a convenient front pocket for cables and documents.
