In this week’s edition of our iPhone-case roundup, you’ll find protection inspired by one of history’s darkest and most-loved superhero vigilantes. But if battling crime is not your thing, we also have our usual mix of the fashionable, the practical, and the adventurous.

The Alexis Mabille (iPhone 5; €40) is a collection of cases designed by the eponymous stylist.
Each model features a cute bow tie; is available in gold/black, pink/white, or grey/blue; and comes individually wrapped in its own gift box.

The DodoNotes (iPhone 4, 4S, and 5; $14) brings the new world of smartphones and the old world of paper together in a protective package that keeps your handset safe alongside a pad of the finest Mohawk paper.
It’s available in red, blue, yellow, or black.

The AmpJacket (iPhone 4 and 4S; $30), whose iPhone 5 model we mentioned a few roundups back, is now also available for the iPhone 4 and 4S.
The AmpJacket features special audio channels that passively amplify the audio coming out of your handset, making it louder and clearer without the need for a powered amplifier. The case comes in white, pink, red, orange, green, black, white, or grey.

If you’re a fan of the Caped Crusader, the Distressed Emblem (iPhone 5; $30) is made for you.
Featuring Batman’s iconic logo, the case features a hard-plastic material for maximum strength, along with a special matte coating for an enhanced grip.

We already know you can put an iPhone on a balloon and send it to the edge of space to take pictures. Now you can wrap that phone up in a $130 Optrix iPhone Adventure Suit and take it underwater to shoot pictures and video of the fishes, down to a depth of 15 feet. Even better, the iPhone’s buttons and touchscreen are fully functional under water.

The ThinShield (iPhone 5; $20) is, according to its manufacturer, the world’s thinnest and lightest snap-on case for Apple’s flagship handset.
The case is just 0.3mm thick, and it comes in black, blue, purple, pink, green, or transparent.

The Neon (iPhone 5; $20) is an ultra-thin case made from strong polycarbonate and fitted with tactile button covers.
The case is just one millimeter thick, comes with a scratch-resistant matte coating, and is available in four bold colors: green, orange, pink, or red.

The HD Anti-Glare Screen Protector Set (iPhone 5; $15) is designed to keep your phone’s screen as free from glare as possible, while preventing scratches, fingerprints, and smudges.
A Crystal Clear version of the protector is also available at the same price. Each style comes in a box of two.

The Limitless Series (iPhone 5; $80 to $100) is made from a combination of rosewood, plastic, and recycled aluminum, joining form and function for maximum protection and style.
Laser cut, hand sanded, and finished in the company’s Minneapolis workshop, the case can also be engraved with a custom message for an additional $20.
