In this week’s iPhone-case roundup, you’ll find a case that keeps little tykes occupied (and handsets safe), a collection designed to stun your fashion sense, and a veritable, well, suit of armor inspired by Marvel’s own playboy superhero.

The Awesimals (iPhone 4 and 4S; $25) is designed for the little ones, with bright colors and a cute design meant to be enjoyed alongside a dedicated app that lets said little ones have fun with with their—well, your—device.
Available in eight different hues, the case is designed with sturdiness in mind, and it doubles as a viewing stand in landscape orientation.

The Freedom 2000 (iPhone 5; $80) keeps your handset protected from the vagaries of everyday life while it recharges the handset with a built-in battery that doubles the iPhone’s battery life.
Available in silver or black, the case features a one-piece construction that includes a built-in charging cable. The case easily snaps on and off without the need for disassembly.

The Chipster (iPhone 5; $25) is made entirely from recycled chipboard. The case provides a tight fit for your phone and protects it from everyday accidents with an eye toward environmental consciousness.
The Chipster comes in natural grey or brown, and it also includes a pull-out tab with room for some cards and cash.

As its name suggests, the Wood (iPhone 5; $38) is made from a solid piece of real-wood veneer inlayed in a satin-polycarbonate bumper for a mix of traditional and modern looks.
The case comes in a wide range of woods, including bamboo, walnut, ebony, and zebra wood, and with white or black bumpers.

Elegance is the name of the game with the Mara Collection (iPhone 5, £95), a sleeve made to snuggly fit your handset and protect it even in the most serious fashion-conscious situations.
The Mara Collection cases are made from printed orange calf leather and feature a pull-tab ejection mechanism that lets you get at your phone quickly when you need it.

The Tones (iPhone 5; $25) combines rigid polycarbonate and soft rubber to provide both protection from bumps and scratches and an excellent feel when you hold it in your hand.
It comes in black, white, purple, blue, military green, pink, or aqua.

The DX (iPhone 5; $80) protects and charges your phone with an internal power supply that doubles the handset’s battery life.
Available in black, white, or red, the DX features an LED battery indicator, and it can be recharged using the included cable.
