In this week’s iPhone-case roundup, many of the options are as much about looks as they are about protection, thanks to luxurious touches and plenty of leather to go around.

The Cushion Wrap (iPhone 5; $50) features this company’s patent-pending metallized frame coupled with upholstered panels of soft silicone that improve grip and—unlike the old couch it looks like—resist stains.
The Cushion Wrap comes in black, red, orange, green, blue, cyan, purple, white, or grey.

The Flipit (iPhone 5; $54) is made from luxurious leather and sports a design that completely covers your iPhone while not in use, providing all-around protection in a luxurious package.
It’s available in black/red, grey/blue, black/orange, or purple/tan.

The Bamboo (iPhone 5; $79 to $129) is, as its name implies, made from bamboo wood, hand sanded, and rubbed with special citrus oil for a beautiful sheen and additional durability.
The case sports an excellent environmental profile. It’s available in a plain variant, or in special models with a variety of patterns carved directly into the wood. You can even design your own.

The SlimEdge (iPhone 5; $25) offers excellent protection in a thin and durable hardshell that’s specially designed to keep the sides and corners of your handset safe.
Available in purple, red, green, brown, or grey, this case even comes with a complimentary screen protector.

The XD5 (iPhone 5; $130) is the perfect way to transform your handset into a sports camera, thanks to a tough shell that provides 360-degree protection against the elements, along with a universal mount system that works on many different surfaces.
In addition to being waterproof up to 33 feet, the XD5 uses a special capacitive material to allow you to continue using your phone even when it’s inside the case.

The Crave (iPhone 5; $35) combines a sophisticated, shock-absorbing material with a a hard outer shell to form a package that delivers protection from bumps and scratches.
It’s available in black, red/black, white/green, white/purple, or just plain white.

The Fold Wallet (iPhone 5; $60) is crafted from Italian, vegetable-tanned leather and offers plenty of room to carry your handset alongside up to five plastic cards or some cash or paper documents.
The case comes in black or brown.

The Grip Hardshell (iPhone 5; $70) features a textured-leather exterior with an embossed Caterina interior in a protective package. A custom-molded camera eyelet helps you capture great pictures.
The case comes in black, red, blue, grey, brown, and white.
