Our latest roundup of Mac accessories includes ways to protect your computer, ways to protect your desk, and new ways to get great sound out of your Mac.

The $90 ACA1 is a long-range, Mac-compatible, 802.11ac Wi-Fi access pont. It features two high-gain, dual-band attenas and four amplifiers, providing up to three times the range of many Wi-Fi adapters.

The $50 PocketPro Padfolio case is built for 13-inch laptops. It’s padded and has a zippered pocket for secure storage, along with multiple pockets for you pens and other business tools. It even accommodates a letter-sized writing pad.

The company has launched two new solar-powered “generators”: the $200 Yeti 150 and the $460 Yeti 400, both of which are equipped to ensure that you can keep your iOS devices and Macs going strong, even when there is no other power to be had.

The RocketStor 5212 is a dual-bay Thunderbolt storage dock that delivers 10Gb/s transfer bandwidth for your Macs. The company hasn’t yet provided info on pricing or availability.

The $150 Z600 Bluetooth Speakers are designed to stream music wirelessly from your computer or iOS device. Each speaker has three drivers, and the system uses lay-flat cables to prevent the tangling of wires on your desk. The system has a Bluetooth range of 33 feet.

The $70 Codex Air 13 is made to protect your MacBook Air. It meets TSA requirements, allowing your MacBook to stay inside the case during airport security checks. It also has a proprietary zipper design that allows for use of your laptop while it’s still still in the case. Foam cushions protect the computer from drops; a microfiber lining prevents scratches.

This company has launched its new line of MediaOne Bluetooth speakers, ranging from the $100, 30-Watt BT3 to the $200, 40-Watt BT5.

The $35 Satechi Desk Mat & Mate is less a Mac accessory and more a desk accessory, but it ensures that your desk’s surfaces can’t be scratched by your computer. It’s made synthetic leather, it’s easy to wipe down, and it comes in eight different colors.

The $40 Thins is a neoprene sleeve for the 11-inch MacBook Air. The case includes a magnetic closure and comes in four different colors. It’s also available in versions for 13-inch MacBooks and the 15-inch MacBook Pro.
