The ever-popular Fab Four make an appearance in this week’s iPad case roundup, lending the covers of their celebrated albums to your protective needs. We’ve also got a few cases that could be used in a battlefield—and some that remind us of the sacrifices that war demands.

Designed specifically for children (or for adults with very slippery fingers), the SafeGrip (iPad mini; $50) is built with extra padding to ensure that a drop won’t force you to make an unexpected trip to the Apple Store.
The case, which comes in grass green, also sports a convenient carrying handle and a stylus holder.

The Latitude (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $35) sports a foldable design that allows it to double as a stand—you get three viewing positions in landscape orientation and two in portrait. The case sports a durable, nylon-canvas exterior, with a zipper to keep your tablet safe during transport.
The Latitude comes in black, navy blue, purple, pink, red, teal and black/teal.

This company’s iPad case collection (iPad 2, 3, 4, and iPad mini; $36) celebrates the varied heritage of America’s armed forces with a selection of designs inspired by well-known military groups, including the Marines and the Navy.
The cases are designed to snap on to your tablet with ease, and feature a plastic body with a metal insert on which the design is printed.

The Module II (all iPad modules; $35) is lined with fleece and padded for extra protection, and offers plenty of room for extras in the form of several pockets (some zippered, some not).
The Module II is available in black, blue, or a blockade-plaid pattern.

The Hardbody (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $40) is designed to work in active environments—it can be subjected to vibration, shock, and the elements without ill effect, thanks to a sturdy construction that meets military-grade-certification standards.
Available in black, the case also includes a stand that can be used to prop your tablet up for viewing in landscape orientation.

The Impact Slip Leather (iPad 2, 3, and 4; £45) offers two layers of protection that use the company’s proprietary technologies to offer excellent protection on all sides. The case’s outside is made from genuine Nappa leather, with a soft microsuede interior that keeps your tablet safe and cozy.
The Impact Slip also features all the appropriate cutouts to ensure that you can continue using your iPad’s ports, buttons, and camera, and it includes integrated video-watching and typing stands to help you make the most out of your mobile experience.

The Aegis (iPad mini; $45) meets military standards for protection against vibration and drops thanks to its shock-absorbing silicone inner core, which is complemented by a tough, polycarbonate outer shell.
The case comes in black with blue, red, burgundy, green, or black accents.

This company’s selection of iPad cases (all iPad models; $90 to $125) are made from high-quality leather imprinted with one of the many famous LP covers from artists such as Prince and the Beatles.
The cases come in several styles, including sleeves and folios that can double as viewing stands in various orientations and positions.
