Remotely Assembled Malware Blows Past Apple’s Screening Process (MIT Technology Review)
A team of security researchers from Georgia Tech managed to sneak a malicious app, codenamed “Jekyll,” through Apple’s “rigorous” App Store testing process, which, apparently, is not so rigorous. Among other tricks, the code looked innocent upon review, but would assemble itself into malicious fashion after running, which is both terrifying and creepy.
Well, let’s not eliminate the possibility that he’s there to pump *clap* them up.
