One of the items in this week’s roundup of new iPhone cases is a little handsy, and another has big ears for you. We also have some butterflies, some sparkling gems, and a dash of extra power to keep your handset juiced up during a weekend trip.

The Fashion Diamond Butterfly (iPhone 4, 4s, 5, and 5s; $46) combines a resilient plastic case with a beautiful pattern inspired by flowers and butterflies.
The case’s design includes gold inlays and sparkling crystals; it comes in purple, beige, or blue.

The BigEar (iPhone 5 and 5s; $10) is, well, a case in the shape of a big, bright-pink ear, just like its name suggests.
Made from silicone rubber, the case offers a soft feel and helps protect against bumps and scratches…and it’s a fair bet that it’ll attract a fair bit of attention.

The Cabrio (iPhone 5 and 5s; €139) features a rigid, aluminium body wrapped in premium Italian leather, with special microfabrics on the inside to keep your handset protected during everyday use.
The case comes in black, dark red, purple, or green.

Perhaps a little on the creepy side, the Hand Case (iPhone 5 and 5s; $49) helps you, well, hold hands with your phone while you use it.
The fake hand itself is made from silicone and is attached to a sturdy case that keeps your iPhone safe from bumps and scratches.

The Solace (iPhone 5 and 5s; $124) is made from a durable, polycarbonate chassis combined with aluminium crowns that have been anodized and polished to perfection.
Available in red, the case features a horse-inspired design in honor of the symbol of the current year on the Chinese calendar.

The Cushi Case (iPhone 5 and 5s; $20) combines the company’s Cushi cushioned skins with a sturdy plastic frame, resulting in a package that provides excellent protection and a splash of fashionable color.
The case comes in eight different versions, each with a different motif and matching Home-screen wallpapers.

The Cazlet (iPhone 4 and 4s, free; iPhone 5 and 5s, $65) combines a leather wallet with a case to form a unique package that provides zippered storage for your money and cards.
The Cazlet comes in two formats, a U.S. version available in “koala” brown, and a european edition that features a slightly bigger cut to account for the old world’s larger banknotes. It’s available in five different shades of brown. The company is giving away the version for the iPhone 4 and 4s, while quantities last.

The Aegis (iPhone 5 and 5s; $35) is made from hardened polycarbonate, with a soft, shock-absorbing-silicone lining for protection from bumps, falls, and scratches.
Available in black, blue, pink, red, or green, the case features a finish that slides easily in and out of your pocket, and it comes with a lanyard loop and a complimentary screen protector.
