This week’s roundup of new iPad cases includes ways to keep your tablet safe everywhere from the pool to the boardroom.

The Slim Color Folio (iPad and iPad Air; $70) brings together a splash of color with a rechargeable Bluetooth keyboard that gives you 60 hours of continuous use or 45 days of standby storage.
The case comes in green, black, red, blue, or purple.

The Booqpad (iPad Air; $60 to $95) is a folio that attaches magnetically to your tablet, making it easy to remove when you want to go case-free. The Booqpad can turn into a typing and viewing stand in landscape orientation.
Available in a PU leather or genuine napa leather, the case includes room for a pen and a pad of paper, and it comes with a complimentary screen protector.

The Repel (iPad 2, 3, and 4; $50) is a slim, folio-style case that integrates a water- and dust-proof pouch in which you can safely protect your tablet from the elements.
Ideal for a day at the pool or a trip to the beach, the Repel also doubles as a viewing or typing stand in landscape orientation.

The Leather Folio (all iPad models; $130) is handmade from genuine American logger’s leather, with a waxed-canvas interior that helps you carry your tablet safely when you’re on the go.
The case features an antique-brass snap closure, and provides a pocket with rooms for some papers or accessories and a few pens.

The Soft-Tec Folio (all iPad models; $60 to $80) is made from top-notch materials and available in two different models, one of which features a modular construction that allows you to use it in a variety of configurations, from a simple bumper to a full-fledged carrying case.
The case features an integrated stand that allows it to double as a viewing or typing platform in landscape orientation.

The Soft-Tec Ducati Edition (all iPad models; $80 to $90) is a folio case whose design was inspired by the famed Italian motorcycle manufacturer.
It features a non-slip synthetic coating that ensures a firm grip, a high-impact polycarbonate shell that offers excellent protection and doubles as a viewing and typing stand in landscape orientation, and a plush synthetic-suede interior that protects your iPad’s screen and keeps it clean.

The Watercolor Funfetti (iPad 2, 3, 4, and iPad mini; $65) is a plastic, snap-on shell available in white featuring an original abstract print in a variety of bright, bold colors.

The iPort (iPad 4, iPad mini, and iPad Air; $100 to $120) is a case that, along with its special stand, lets you charge your tablet without the need for cables.
The stand supports three different viewing angles, while the case, which is compatible with Apple’s Smart Cover, features a set of special channels that reroute and enhance your iPad’s audio output.

The VersaCover (iPad mini and iPad Air; price unavailable) is a flexible cover with special foldable grooves that allow you to prop up your tablet at several angles and orientations while adding minimal bulk.
The VersaCover is compatible with the iPad’s magnetic sleep/wake feature, and it comes in green, blue, pink, or brown.

The Cargito (iPad mini; $155) is a sleeve lined with leather that includes an external battery with a Lightning connector that will recharge your tablet while you’re on the go.
Available in silver, the case also features a zippered pocket, stylus holder, and business-card compartment.
