Optrix lets your iPhone swim with (and take photos of) the fishes
By Macworld staff, Peter Cohen
We’ve already seen a couple of fisheye lenses that you can use with the iPhone’s camera. But what about a fisheye lens for the iPhone that actually works underwater?
That’s what Optrix is selling in form of new camera lenses that work with its waterproof iPhone case (available for iPhone 5 and 5s). Those lenses include a couple of telephotos, a macro, and, yes, a fisheye. At Macworld/iWorld, they were demoing this by submerging an iPhone in a tank filled with water. The point being that you could, if you were feeling truly confident, take your iPhone on your next snorkeling expedition and get fisheye shots of fish.
