In this week’s podcast, we welcome another Dan (Frakes, in this case) to mull over the news of the week. And that news is contentious indeed. We begin by talking about the effects of Amazon’s acquisition of the ComiXology app (good for Amazon, bad for the comic book culture). We then peek, in a confused sort of way, into a future MacBook Air upgrade that, to you now, is a thing of the past. Next, we climb on a high horse and say unkind things about the FCC and its chairman. And we finish by climbing atop the higher horse standing on the previous horse’s back and rant a bit about how large companies can get away with all kinds of untoward actions provided they have the cash on hand to pay their way out of their poor behavior.
