There’s a light at the end of the tunnel—and it could be coming from your handset, thanks to one of the cases we cover in this week’s roundup of new iPhone cases.

The Soft Gel TPU Gloss Skin (iPhone 5 and 5s; $10) is made, says the company, from 100-percent premium materials that sport special dust- and scratch-repellent properties.
The case is available in black, white, purple, pink, aqua, brown, grey, slate, orange, green, or fuchsia.

The Sparkbeats (iPhone 5 and 5s; $50) features a special light-diffusing implement that turns your handset’s flash into a glowing light path that pulsates at the rhythm of music thanks to a free companion app.
The case is available white, black, or grey.

The Silicon Touch (iPhone 5 and 5s; $15) is waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof, with an IPX8 certification that means it can even be submersed in up to 8 meters of water.
The case features a transparent silicone membrane that grants you full access to your screen, and a camera window that allows you to take clear pictures, even underwater.

The Blueberry Gel Guard (iPhone 5 and 5s; $35) is a precision-cut skin made from a gel material that offers excellent protection from bumps and scratches with a minimalist profile that adds little bulk to your phone.
The skins, which are available in blue, red, or white with green highlights, come with a series of button covers that feature one of several world flags, as well as a complimentary screen protector.

The Crystal (iPhone 5, 5c, and 5s; $21) is an oleophobic screen protector that helps keep smudges, scratches, and dirt away from your handset’s touchscreen.
The case features a sharp and vibrant finish, and it can be even custom-engraved for an added touch.

The LifeCharge (iPhone 5 and 5s; $80) incorporates a rechargeable, 2300-mAh battery that boosts your handset’s longevity when making calls, using apps, or accessing the Internet.
The case comes in black, grey, or white.

The S Series (iPhone 5c; price unavailable) keeps your handset protected from the vagaries of everyday life with a bumper made from polycarbonate and TPU.
The bumper is available in two-tone variants of black or blue.

The FlipBack (iPhone 4 and 4s; $30) protects your handset from all sides and doubles as a viewing stand in landscape orientation.
The case comes in black, dark blue, grey, purple, pink, or grey.

The Dreamcatcher (iPhone 5 and 5s; $35) is handmade from naturally-sourced bamboo, carved to perfectly fit your handset.
The case sports a dreamcatcher-inspired design, and is one of three models in a collection that also includes motifs of a compass rose and a geographical atlas.
