The invitations to Apple’s special event on Thursday read “It’s been way too long,” but memories of the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch launch last month are still fresh—including the painfully inconsistent live stream.
But if at first your live stream fails, try, try again: Apple has confirmed that it will offer a live stream of the event, which will take place at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Thursday at the company’s own Town Hall Auditorium in Cupertino.
Apple’s live streams are available on the dedicated Apple TV channel for Live Events (which, anecdotally, worked the best for us during the shaky iPhone 6 announcement), as well as in Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X 10.6.8 or later, or Safari on iOS 6 or later. The stream will appear here, and you an even add a reminder to your calendar to ping you when it’s time to tune in. Fingers crossed it works a little better this time.
We can’t wait to see what Apple has to announce. Are you planning to watch the stream, or do you prefer to just catch up later in the day?
