If you want your emoji to be more personalized expressions of your feelings, well, here’s your chance. Bitmoji lets you create a cartoon avatar of yourself, then choose from a library of moods and comic scene, which can then be used in a number of messaging apps.
Just a few tweaks to this iPhone radio app, but they’re significant: iHeartRadio can now be accessed as a widget in the Notification screen, letting users choose from one of their recent stations to restart the music. And travelers whose cars are equipped with Apple’s new CarPlay equipment can use this app—iHeartRadio is now CarPlay compatible.

Until then, your old-timey picture needs might best be served by TinType, a $1 iPhone app from Hipstamatic that tries to replicate the look of daguerrotypes, tintypes, and other forms of photography that were already out-of-date when your grandparents were born.
This free app for iPhone has been completely overhauled for iOS 8. Version 4.0 includes new features, including regional weather forecasts delivered to the app’s inbox, deals and discounts from ski resorts, breaking news from the ski industry, and gear section guides, along with resort photo galleries, ratings, and reviews from fellow skiers.
