The $300 Thunderbolt 2 Express Dock HD lets you connect up to eight devices—including dual displays—to your Mac, to take advantage of Thunderbolt 2 data transfer speeds of up to 20GB per second. You can add four additional devices through Daisy-chaining; it features a brushed aluminum finish to look great next to your Apple computer.
The $100 Simple Desk combines the best attributes of a Lazy Susan and a hospital tray; the rotating table top lets you switch perspectives on your monitor and easily access back-of-the computer ports, and the device also lets you put your keyboard and mouse away. Designed by M further promises that the Simple Desk will help improve your posture and ergonomic sitting. It’s available now for pre-order.
This company’s new d2 Thunderbolt 2 storage drive starts at $300 for 3TB of storage, then ramps up to $400 for 4TB or $500 for 6TB. The company says: “LaCie designed the d2 Thunderbolt 2 to be upgradable to the fastest SSD on the market, which boosts speeds up to 1150MB per second.”
The $30 Logitech Wireless Mouse M320 is ergonomically designed—with curves and grips designed for your hand—and built for use: It offers two years of battery life. But mostly it looks great, coming in four different colors: Blue, red, black, and gray. All of the beautiful colors are very, very meaningful.
The $19 Snuglet solves a simple problem—your power cord disconnects from your MacBook far too easily. The Snuglet is a precision-engineered ring that fits perfectly inside your computer’s MagSafe port; it strengthens the magnetic bond of the port so your power cord “stays connected whenever you need it to, but still releases safely when it should.”
The $49 Wireless Aluminum Keypad is designed to look like an Apple-made accessory for your Mac. “Bluetooth pairing is quick and reliable, and reconnects automatically when the computer or device is awakened or restarted,” NewerTech says. The keypad is available in both white key and black key versions.
The $169 Aluminum Blu-Ray Disc Drive sits right beneath your Mac Pro, unobtrusively, available to read and write Blu-Ray discs, as well as regular DVDs and CDs.
Let’s let the company describe the $25 Soba cable organizer: “Soba zips loose cables up and consolidates them into a single tube that can be routed and affixed along walls, under desks, anywhere you have multiple cables running that you want to tidy up.” It’s a great product for tidying up that mess of cables.
