We continue our wrap-up of Expo 2008 with another Macworld Podcast recorded from the show floor. In this installment, I’m joined by senior features editor Kelly Turner and associate editor Heather Kelly to talk about all things creative. In other words, we highlight some of the image editors, drawing tools, 3D software and other applications that cater to your creative instincts.

We discuss a lot of products in this podcast, but some of the highlights include
Nolobe’s new Iris image-editor and the latest offerings from
Plasq, including the
Doozla drawing app aimed at kids.
Some of Kelly’s favorite Expo sights included
Hydra, a low-cost builder of High Dynamic Range images, and the
Eye-Fi wireless memory card (which also captured
Best of Show honors. Heather talked about
Microspot Interiors, a 3-D interior design tool, and the
SwingSeat office chair. I revisit the
newly-released Modbook (which briefly turned me into
a modest YouTube sensation when I profiled the device last year). Also, I mention
EyeTV 3, the upgraded version of Elgato Systems’ TV-watching software.
Of course, no discussion of creative software showcased at Expo would be complete without mentioning another Best of Show winner, Adobe’s
Photoshop Elements for Mac. Be sure to check out
Lesa Snider King’s first look at Elements 6, which is expected to ship in February.
