The latest attempt to bring Steve Jobs’s life story to the silver screen may fare better than previous, not-so-great efforts, if the new full-length trailer for the appropriately titled Steve Jobs is any indication.
The new biopic about the late Apple CEO was scripted by The Social Network screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, who has some experience bringing tech drama to big screen. The film was based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of Jobs.
We caught a glimpse of the the film’s story, which is pegged to three major Apple product launches, back in May, but now we have a better idea of just how well Michael Fassbender portrayed Jobs. The film also features Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak and Kate Winslet as original Macintosh team member Joanna Hoffman.
Blink and you might miss Macworld’s own Roman Loyola, who appears in a crowd scene in the trailer (and the film). We helpfully point him out to you in the photo below:

Macworld’s own Roman Loyola appears for a second in the new Steve Jobs trailer.
Steve Jobs premieres Oct. 9 at a cineplex near you. What do you think of Fassbender as Jobs? I confess, I was a little skeptical about the choice of actor (because they look and sound nothing alike), but now I think Fassender might have pulled it off.
