Elsewhere, Facebook claimed to fix its battery problem, but it turns out you don’t even need Facebook’s main app on your phone—or Messenger, while we’re deleting things—to have a complete Facebook experience. Whatever apps and data you do have on your phone, Apple still refuses to help the authorities hack it, even if a court wants them to. MacKeeper’s settlement is being split among more people than anticipated (and you can still get in on it), and Chase Pay is CurrentC all over again but at least uses credit cards.
