Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference keynote on Monday morning was jam-packed with announcements, from all the features coming in iOS 10 to a new iPad coding app for kids.

For most websites that detect that Flash isn’t available, but don’t have an HTML5 fallback, a message that “Flash isn’t installed” will be displayed with a link to download Flash from Adobe. When a user clicks on one of the links, Safari will advise them that the plug-in is already installed and allow them to activate it just one time or every time the website is visited.

According to Apple’s programming guide, the all-new Siri SDK, or SiriKit, will initially support only six types of third-party app services: audio/video calling, messaging, sending and receiving payments, searching photos, starting workouts, and booking rides.

Apple believes that making iMessage the top messaging service and keeping it iOS-only brings added value to owning an iPhone.

The 2016 Apple Design Awards were announced Monday night at WWDC, with prizes going to apps that “set a benchmark for excellence” in “usability, excellence in design, excellence in innovation, and excellence in technology adoption.”

They will offer deep integration between iPhones and the Spark messaging and voice platform. An incoming Spark call will ring on the lock screen just like a cellular call and users will be able to tap on a contact in the address book to contact them over Spark.

The iPhone 6 models violate an “exterior design patent” held by Shenzhen Baili. The company was granted the patent in China in July 2014, shortly before Apple released the iPhone 6.

Last year the company promised to build 40 new Chinese Apple Stores by mid-2016 — Macau is expected to put Apple over the internal goal after outlets in Shanghai and Tianjin start operations later this month.

Apple may face a $19 billion bill if the government ultimately loses and is forced to recoup tax from the company.
