
Forget Pokémon for a second: Angry Birds 2 is one year old. How shall we celebrate? Read on!

In celebration of its first birthday, Angry Birds 2 (freemium, iPhone and iPad) has been updated with 80 news levels, a “Ring of Fire” to make “those bad piggies feel the burn,” as well as birthday hats for all your favorite characters. At long last, BitTorrent is available on iOS with an official app, BitTorrent Now (free, iPhone). The makers say: “With BitTorrent Now, fans can find films from artists they love on their iPhone during their commute and then favorite to stream later on the couch in front of their Apple TV. “

Camera+ for iPad ($5, iPad) has launched in Version 2.0, with new features that support selective brushing of the various edits and filters that let you play with a picture’s soft focus, film grain, temperature, and more. The updated app also includes support for Apple Pencil and iPad multitasking.

Cardiogram (free, iPhone) lets you pull health data from your Apple Watch to see how your heart reacts to intense workouts; it can also find your resting heart rate and track spikes related to diet, exercise, and stress. Users might be invited to participate in official medical studies to help treat heart disease.

Moment (freemium, iPhone and iPad) has launched in Version 3.0. The app still tracks how much you use your phone and tablet each day, but the update takes it one step further by tracking which apps you use most. It also includes two new stats: How often you pick up your phone, and what percentage of your life you spend looking at it. If you want, the app will teach you how to start using your phone less.

Polaroid Swing (free, iPhone) lets you “capture one-second moments that magically come to life when you touch them or swing your iPhone.” You can also reverse the moving photo, or take 3D selfies by rotating your phone around you.

Read is a 20-lesson program designed to help young elementary school students learn to read. There are 120 exercises, 150 interactive stories, and more.

Super Stickman Golf 3 (freemium, iPhone and iPad) has 20 new courses to be mastered—play by yourself, or against friends. One other cool feature: 65 hats for your character, each of which changes how the game plays out.

The Scrivener writing app finally comes to iOS on July 20 … the Waygo (pictured) translation app has been redesigned for quicker translations … Disney Emoji Blitz lets users play and collect hundreds of Disney and Pixar emojis … Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Finance have both launched major updates in recent weeks.
