Apple’s new Apple TV Remote app is pretty great, but the volume controls might not work if you aren’t using HDMI-CEC. Apple still hasn’t been able to close the deals for its long-rumored streaming service, and the company is reportedly pivoting to a TV Guide-like app to at least make the fragmented world of Apple TV apps a little easier to channel-surf. Speaking of apps, no more free Hulu—but is it worth paying for?
