This week, Susie returns from her hiatus writing about the Apple event, in order to discuss, duh—the Apple event. iOS 10 is out, and our review is live. We’re eagerly awaiting our chance to review the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and glad we didn’t try to order them through the iPhone Upgrade Program, which temporarily put loyal customers willing to buy an iPhone every year at the back of the line.
Since we recorded this, Apple has announced that it was trying to get iPhones assigned to the Upgrade Program customers, but the result is that Apple stores won’t have any iPhone 7 Plus units, nor jet-black iPhone 7 units, for walk-in customers on launch day. This seems like the right thing to do: take care of the loyal customers first.
