In the week since we last spoke, Susie reviewed the MacBook Pro models with the new Touch Bar. She finds the Touch Bar very useful, a refreshing change in how we use our Macs, and perfectly in line with technology’s recent focus on putting the stuff you need in front of you when you need it.
Then Apple announced a vanity project that really stretches the word vanity: _Designed by Apple in California_, a coffee table book slash wordless design manual that could be a cool idea if the proceeds were going to any number of charities. (Spoiler: They are not.) So we share our feelings about that, and then extend the discussion to Apple’s attitude overall lately. Let us know your thoughts, too.
