You’ve got your gorgeous new red iPhone 7, and you’ve managed to make it a whole week without dropping it, scratching it, or throwing it at the wall—congrats! But now it’s time to get back to the real world and slap a case on that thing.
We know, we know—it’s just so pretty! You can’t stop staring at its beautiful red face (er, back), and the last thing you want to do is cover it with a case. We feel your pain, and that’s why we’ve rounded up 12 red-iPhone-worthy cases that will keep your phone safe and sexy. Check out this mix of cases that were basically made for this new color.

Apple’s own Silicone CaseRemove product link ($35 MSRP for iPhone 7; $39 MSRP for iPhone 7 Plus) comes in red—official (Product)RED red, to be precise—so you can keep your new red iPhone as red as possible. This slim silicone case has press-through button overlays for your phone’s power and volume buttons, features a soft-touch exterior and a microfiber lining, and will protect your new phone from minor bumps and scratches. If you’d rather not go red-on-red, this case also comes in 11 other colors, including black, white, and midnight blue.

Okay, I lied—you don’t need a red case to show off your new phone’s sexy color. Tech21’s durable and transparent Impact Clear case (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $39.95 MSRP) should do just fine. Don’t let the light weight of this case fool you—the Impact Clear case is made with “BulletShield,” an impact-absorbing material used in bullet proof glass, to protect your phone from drops of up to 6.6 feet. This case also features textured sides for extra grippiness and a matte finish on the back to prevent fingerprints and smudges. In addition to the clear color, the Impact Clear case also comes in smoky black.

If you’re looking for a transparent case with a glossy finish, you’re looking for Speck’s Presidio Clear case (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $39.95 MSRP, $18.30 on AmazonRemove product link). This slim clear case features a dual-layer design—polycarbonate and “Impactium Clear,” Speck’s shock-absorbing material that will protect your phone from drops of up to 8 feet.
The case features raised edges around your phone’s screen for extra protection (plus press-through covers for your phone’s power and volume buttons), and Speck’s little asterisk logo is small and unobtrusive in the upper right corner. The Presidio Clear also comes in a smoky black color (Onyx Black), which has a matte finish.

Fully transparent cases are great for showing off how beautiful your new phone is, but you don’t have to stop there! Speck’s Presidio Clear + Print cases (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $44.95 MSRP, $26 on AmazonRemove product link) are still mostly transparent, but with pretty printed designs embedded in the material. For the new red iPhone, I like the “Showy Feather” design, which features three gold peacock feathers—the gold will really stand out against the red.

Casetify’s Do What You Love case (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $40 MSRP) is incredibly simple—and totally gorgeous. This transparent case features the words “Do What You Love” splashed across it in bold white script, and can even be customized to some degree. The polycarbonate case has a glossy transparent back and a matte, soft-touch frame for extra grippiness. The frame comes in seven different colors, including clear (pictured), black, and red.

This cute, simple case was clearly designed just for the new red iPhone. The Take a Bow II – Blanc case (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $40 MSRP) is mostly transparent, with a thin, white string tied into a bow just under your phone’s pretty Apple logo. The case is semi-customizable (you can pick the frame color—the one pictured is red), and features a dual-layer construction that protects your phone against drops of up to 4 feet.

Case-Mate’s Naked Tough Waterfall cases (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $40 MSRP, $30 on AmazonRemove product link) offer a different, more dynamic take on the transparent case trend. These cases are basically like chic snowglobes—the back features pretty, iridescent glitter in water trapped between two slim layers of plastic. Tilt the case and the glitter will tumble over your phone (without, you know, actually getting on your phone).
The Naked Tough cases feature “Military-strength” impact protection, which means they should protect your phone from drops of up to 4 feet. For the new red iPhone, I like the Iridescent Diamond color (shown here), but the Waterfall case also comes in rose gold, magenta, black, and teal.

Case-Mate’s Karat Rose Gold case (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $50 MSRP, $40 on AmazonRemove product link) features flecks of metallic rose gold elements embedded in layers of clear resin for a cool three-dimensional effect. The color of this case may have been inspired by the rose gold iPhone, but that doesn’t mean it won’t pop against the new red iPhone. This gorgeous case has a two-part design (a soft, shock-absorbing bumper and a hard resin back plate) and metallic button covers for your phone’s power and volume buttons.

What’s black and white and red all over? Your new red iPhone when you put it in this chic Zebra case from Sonix (iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; $35 MSRP, same price on AmazonRemove product link). This transparent polycarbonate case features playful black and white zebras with gold foil accents prancing across it. Design-wise, it’s pretty minimal, with press-through button overlays for your phone’s power and volume buttons, cut-outs for port access, and a slightly-raised bezel to protect your screen from bumps and scratches.

Maybe you don’t need full-body phone protection. Maybe all you need is a bumper. Grovemade’s Walnut Bumper ($59 MSRP for iPhone 7; $69 MSRP for iPhone 7 Plus) lets your phone shine through while adding a touch of a natural element—wood.
This hand-sanded bumper features access to all ports and press-through wooden covers for your phone’s power and volume buttons. It’s not going to protect your phone from major drops—the company even warns that the bumper itself might be damaged by drops—but it will keep your phone from being seriously damaged by bumps in your bag (and it looks awesome).

Gorilla Cases’ Aluminum Metal Shockproof Gorilla Glass case (iPhone 7 Plus; $35 MSRP) is…extreme. But it’s also red, so if you’re really psyched about the color of your new iPhone 7 Plus, this might be the case for you.
This rugged case is pretty durable: Water-resistant (not waterproof), dust-proof, snow-proof, drop-proof, and shock-proof. It has a metallic red aluminum bumper that screws on and a built-in Gorilla Glass screen protector for even more protection. It’s not the most protective case we’ve ever seen, but for the price, it’s great protection.

Otterbox’s Symmetry Series Stardust Clear case ($39.95 for iPhone 7; $49.95 MSRP for iPhone 7 Plus) will give you decent (though not ultimate Otterbox-level) protection and let you show off your phone. This dual-layer case features Otterbox’s “Certified Drop+ Protection,” though it’s not rated for a specific height. Otterbox is known for its super-protective cases, though, so I wouldn’t worry too much about dropping your phone in this case.
This transparent case is similar to the other transparent cases in our round-up—it’s made of TPU and hard polycarbonate, it has a bezel that protects all sides of your phone, and press-through button covers for your phone’s power and volume buttons. The Stardust version has gold glitter infused in the polycarbonate for an extra-cool sparkly effect.
