Apple showed its hand. The company hasn’t forgotten its pro users (hasn’t forgotten how annoyed they are, anyway), but it doesn’t have anything to give them today. The Mac Pro got a configuration adjustment, and a new model will come, but not this year. Which could mean next year…or it might not. Apple also gave up some interesting stats on what makes a “pro” Mac user, and what Macs those users buy the most. So this isn’t all bad news, but it’s not really much to get excited about, either.
