You can fight battles, build an empire, join or create your own guilds, and do so in a universe populated by other Final Fantasy players from around the world. The makers say: “Will your magic grow or do you stand to be defeated?”

Affinity Photo ($20, iPad) bills itself as “the first fully featured, truly professional photo editing tool for iPad.” It has support for unlimited layers, layer groups, adjustment layers, and more; the ability to edit live filters, adjustments, effects, blend modes and masks; and a host of other professional image processing features and tools.

Priime RAW (free to download, $3 monthly subscription, iPad) is designed “for photographers who need high quality and fast performance editing for RAW and high-resolution photos.” It includes “professional-grade” photo filters, an A.I. that makes style recommendations, and an array of other editing tools.

Dribbble (free, iPhone and iPad) is a social network connecting designers around the world. The app lets users share their creations, see what their smartest peers are doing, and maybe even get hired for a cool new gig. The app is also available for use on Apple TV.

Flo (free, iPhone and iPad) is a video-editing app that edits the video for you. Version 2.0 features a couple of nifty features, including a voice assistant that lets you speak instructions—“make a video about my day at the beach”—after which the app’s artificial intelligence takes your raw video, puts music to it, and edits it with a filter to give everything a unified look.
