Apple took the wraps off the “fun new products” it promised a week ago, unveiling the first Intel-based Mac mini as well as the iPod Hi-Fi speaker system. Unlike Steve Jobs’ Macworld Expo keynote, which is delivered to thousands of attendees at Moscone Center, Tuesday’s product announcements took place at a press-only event held on Apple’s Cupertino, Calif., campus.
But not to worry–Macworld editors were on hand for live coverage of Jobs’ presentation, and we’ve got highlights of the event in this special edition of the Macworld Podcast.
In addition to excerpts from Jobs’ speech, you’ll also hear commentary from Senior Editor Christopher Breen on the iPod Hi-Fi. Editorial Director Jason Snell and Senior News Editor Jonathan Seff join me for a roundtable discussion about all of Tuesday’s announcements.
