The Macworld Podcast returns to the world of Macs this week, delving into the new Intel-based Mac minis.
Fresh off a week-long exploration of the latest mini, Macworld Senior Editor Rob Griffiths joins us to talk about his multi-part series that appeared at Macworld.com last week. And Rob’s not easing off now that his time with the mini is done—I mention in the podcast that he’s currently experimenting with running Windows XP on an Intel-based Mac in the wake of the news of a successful hack that lets you run the Microsoft operating system on Apple hardware. Look for Rob’s report on the Windows XP hack later this week.
Also in this podcast, I chat with Christopher Breen, another Macworld senior editor, about his experience reviewing the Audioengine 5 speaker system, a rival to the iPod Hi-Fi.

Here’s where you can find Rob’s Mac mini tome:
Rob also produced two follow-up articles—one that revisits RAM-dependent tests and another that looks at HD playback issues with the mini. And be sure to read Rob’s blog entry chronicling a mishap he had buying RAM for his new mini.
