Every year around Memorial Day, the movers and shakers of the tech world gather in Southern California for a conference hosted by The Wall Street Journal’s All Things Digital. And this year, Macworld’s Jason Snell was among the attendees. He joins us on this week’s Macworld Podcast to tell us what he saw during the week-long event.

Show notes
Apple news was front and center at this year’s edition of the D conference. Not only did Apple CEO Tim Cook kick off the D Conference last week, many participants paid tribute to former CEO Steve Jobs, as Jason recounts. Another speaker at the conference—screenwriter Aaron Sorkin—is writing the screenplay for an upcoming Steve Jobs biopic based on Walter Isaacson’s biography.
You can read other D10 coverage from Jason—including reports on higher education and technology and a talk by Zynga CEO Marc Pincus at our sister site TechHive.
In our discussion, Jason also mentions some of the work done by The Verge’s Joshua Topolsky, including reports on sessions featuring Skype and Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel.
The folks behind All Things Digital have released videos of Steve Jobs’s appearances at the annual conference. You can download them from the iTunes Store.
